Great hardy blanket - use at home & on trips. Whenever I am going somewhere cold. Always good to have around.

Pendleton’s Yakima camp blankets are amazing. I now have two, a queen and a twin. It is a heavy blanket that looks great as a bed spread! Although it is wool, it is surprisingly soft out of the box and will only get softer with time. I have had the twin size for 4 years now, I used it throughout college, on the beach, around the campfire, and when nomad living in my truck. Wool is an incredible fabric that is warm yet highly breathable, and self cleaning. The queen size I just purchased is the perfect addition to my room, I couldn’t be happier! It’s a bit pricey but will likely last for the rest of my life!

I was searching for the best adventure blanket, particularly something durable and very warm. The Yakima Camp Blanket kept getting near the top or every review list and I checked it out and it’s legitimately an incredible blanket. It’s pretty soft for a mainly wool blanket and SUPER warm. I’m very pleased I take it outside often and have it around the house as well. It’s very handsome and classy and has a cowboy like look. I have the Mineral Umber color and I love this blanket. So far I have no complaints, no bad smells, it’s large for a twin which is really comfortable to wrap yourself and someone else in. The only con is the price, but you honestly get what you pay for compared to cheaper wool blankets.

This is the first Pendleton purchase and I do not regret it. It is warm and built with quality. I have other blankets that are itchy but not this blanket. It is soft and warm. Love it

This blanket is super warm and cozy. You will feel like you are in a cabin in the woods far away from the city next to a fire drinking hot coco.

This is the third Pendleton blanket I have purchased. I love the Camp blanket because it is a bit softer than the 100% wool version. We love using this while camping. So warm and durable.

I was on the line about spending so much for a blanket. After reading a lot of reviews about the longevity and durability of Pendletons I decided to take the leap and got one for myself and one for the wife. So far it seems worth it. Definitely high quality. VERY warm (probably not as good a a technical for more frigid/artic nights outside though). It does have a bit of wool scratch, but even out of the bag was softer than I expected. Only time will tell

Always give this as a gift because I bought one for myself and loved it. I keep mine in the car and use it everywhere from picnics to camping and it never gets old.

I love this blanket! It is soft to the touch and looks fantastic. It will last a lifetime and handle everything you can throw at it. It is amazing how warm and wind resistant it is. It is the perfect camp blanket.

I purchased this blanket for one specific need - to protect the windshield of sidecar when it was folded into the tub. This blanket is a replacement for an el' cheapO that I picked up in my travels. I also wanted something thicker for my passengers to use as well. This blanket is outstanding! Great thickness and just enough fluff. I ended up using it as an extra blanket while camping (in addition to my sleeping bag because I like the weight). I was super cozy all night (low 30*). The colors are beautiful and it's not scratchy! It's WOOL. Some scratch is expected. I'm very happy w/this item and I'm a true Pendleton supporter now.

Love love love this blanket! It's cozy and perfectly weighted to use as a throw on my bed and also snuggle under on the couch. Great accent piece as well! Looking forward to many many years of use out of it.

Got this as a gift for my dad, who writes: "The 80/20 wool/cotton blend has a soft feel and the weight is neither too heavy nor too light. I love the earth color and the multicolor stripes on the long side. The blanket is niceIy and tightly hemmed on the edges with the same color thread as the blanket. I used it last week sleeping on a canvas cot in a cool room and it was just the right weight for the coldest part of the night. I learned the first night though that on a cot you need insulation below as well as above. Next night I folded another wool blanket to make more of a mattress feel and insulate my underside."

A friend got a Camp blanket recently and loves it. He loves the Lake color and is glad he got it in the queen size. He's looking forward to having it for future adventures, especially as it breaks in and gets softer.

The craftsmanship and looks of this blanket are very nice. But I was hoping for something a bit softer. It definitely has the itch factor I think of when picturing a wool saddle blanket. I guess I was hoping for a feel more like merino.

Love this blanket, I have 2, one in my living room & one in my camper van. If you are thinking this is going to keep you warm on a cold night camping, you will be disappointed, but if you are bundled up, wrapping up in one of these is really nice. Be careful when you wash it though - running it through the wash will destory it.

I ordered this blanket thinking it would replace my sleeping bag for moderate weather car camping trips. I've slept with this blanket for months while living in my car in many different layering arrangements. Basically once it gets under 55F at night it doesn't function as a primary source of warmth. I wanted to like this blanket because it is beautiful and big and wool. Yet this was not the case at all. I'm not one to usually write reviews but I would not recommend spending so much on a blanket that doesn't hold its own. it's also scratchy enough to warrant a liner blanket underneath for me.
