Despite its slender design, the Pelican 20QT Elite Cooler retains ice for three days outdoors, even in the stifling-hot conditions. The Elite Cooler features 2 centimeters of insulation, which retains ice and keeps your beverages frosty for days while you're camping, boating, and recreating outdoors. Convenient extras, such as molded can holders and a built-in bottle opener, make it a great addition to your outdoor gear arsenal.

This 20-quart cooler (that's about 18.9 liters) is part of Pelican's Elite series of rugged coolers designed to withstand hardcore abuse outdoors. Proving its strength, you'll find it's constructed of rugged polypropylene throughout the body and handle, reinforced with stainless steel hardware. Oversized latches keep its contents from spilling out when it's bumping around in your boat or tossed in a truck cab.

This cooler is exactly what I was looking for. Something smaller, yet durable that was able to fit two glass growlers standing up with room for ice.

Ordered this based on the info provided in Ashleigh's review and I gotta say that everything holds true. The construction on this thing is fantastic. Pre-chilled, it'll keep beers cold for daaaays. Super comfy as a seat and carrying it even when it's fully loaded is not an issue. The integrated bottle opener is an excellent touch. Next on the list is the 80 on wheels!

This cooler rocks. Easy to carry when loaded with ice and beverages. Never need to look for a bottle opener again because there's one built in. Great height for a seat or small card table. Go out for an all day adventure and have No worries leaving cooler in the hot car. Cold beverages will be waiting for you when you return.

I have several roto molded coolers that I love, but I really love the features and performance of this cooler. The cup holders are great, the latches work really well, and it keeps beverages as cold as any other competing cooler that I have. The handle is very comfortable and you may not notice but there is a big notch at the top on the back, so it sits nicely on your leg when carrying it. I never really thought about it before, but when I used it, it made a big difference and I really like it! It even has a built-in bottle opener! I am not the biggest fan of the interior shape of the cooler b/c it makes stacking a little challenging, but I love the shape of it for a seat b/c it is taller. I use it as a seat on my SUP! I definitely recommend it and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me at amcclary@backcountry.com .
