Don't let the winter months sideline your running habit—run through the year's coldest months with the Pearl Izumi Men's Flash Insulator Run Jacket. The Flash is insulated throughout the body with Primaloft insulation to keep your core warm, and it has a weather-resistant polyester fabric throughout the rest of the jacket to combat wind and moisture. Two zippered hand pockets give you a place to warm your hands or stash a few energy gels on those longer runs. Reflective details provide an extra touch of visibility when light is limited.

Full Reviews
Bought the PI Flash Insulator men's jacket because it's getting colder out there. I could not find any reviews of the jacket anywhere, so thought I'd fix that. Me: 5'9, 170lbs. I run 3-4 mornings/week 3-4 miles per run. So far my runs in this jacket have been in the low 50F temperature range, and given my experience I am certain it will keep me warm down to another 10-15 degrees, maybe more. First, I love the cut. Makes me look like a better runner than I am! Second, sizing was a gamble when I bought it, but I went with a large given my previous experience with PI cycling gear. The jacket fits mostly fine. I think a medium would have worked too, but been tight. One concern due to the large size - the bottom of the jacket hangs open and lets in cooler air. So far that is not an issue because winter isn't fully here...but maybe a medium would have negated the issue. The jacket is very comfortable, very soft and light. I find my arms get warmer than the rest of me, probably due to a tighter fit in the arms. Overall very pleased after a few runs in it. Price was right and Backcountry shipped fasts and accurately. Would buy again!
