Oh, man, I just got these and am writing a review within the first twenty minutes. I am so sad that these are so bad. I have the Full length Pack Out tight in every coloR—four pair. I was excited to find the short length with the same fit and function. But that is not the case. The material has a sheen and is not as soft. The waistband is horribly high. While I’m short waisted, if the band is extended it comes just below my bra line. To fold it is super bulky. I imagine this is what maternity clothing is like. The Capri length is at the bend of my knee and scrunches up. These are not worth the money.

Let me start by saying that I own 3 pairs of the regular, non-capri version of Patagonia's Pack Out Tights (2 black, 1 blue). My first pair of black was a size Large. I started swimming every day for the last 8 months, so things started to shift/change on the ol' bod, and the Large started to fit too baggy. I ordered 2 more pairs in Medium, because I LIVE in these during the cooler months. They fit perfectly. When I saw this lighter weight option, I was really excited to have something with appropriately sized pockets for warmer months. Ordered a pair in Medium (black)...they turned me into a penguin. I couldn't even get them over my thighs. I have muscular thighs, but not so muscular that they shouldn't have fit. Sent those back, and got a pair in Large (black)...they were comically so big that it looked like I was back in maternity clothes. The placing of the seams on the hips also seemed way off. The top waistband came within an inch of the bottom of my sports bra. I'm not sure if I just got a couple of off-sized pairs, but I think I'll be waiting for people to go back to the drawing board on this one. I will say that the fabric felt nice and lighter weight, and the pockets were the same fabulous ones that are on the original version.
