When you spend more time on dirt than you do on asphalt, pick up the Patagonia Women's Dirt Roamer Bike Short for fluid mobility, a body-contoured fit, and secure integration with Patagonia's compatible liner shorts. As its name suggests, the Dirt Roamer excels on epic singletrack rides and lift-serviced flow trails with its nylon-spandex fabric, which offers pedal-friendly mobility and excellent breathability. Its DWR finish repels oncoming rain showers and puddle splashes from compromising your comfort.

Besides being stretchy and breathable, the Dirt Roamer Bike Shorts follow the contours of your body with its curved waistband, complete with hook-and-loop adjusters for a slip-free fit. It doesn't come with an integrated chamois, but it's compatible with Patagonia's Endless Ride Liner Short (sold separately) that snaps inside for additional padding. Other key features include a secure-zip pocket for your trail essentials, plus an 11.5-inch inseam that sits just above most knee pads, as to not inhibit pedaling movement.

I bought the teal shorts. I know Patagonia runs small, I usually wear a 2-4 in other brands so I sized up to a 6. But I still feel like they are too small. The material is super stretchy so I think, in that sense, they are okay. I haven’t tested them out to see if the stretch is enough to be comfortable on a ride. Either way, they are still pretty tight, maybe some would like the more form fitting aspect, but I was hoping my underwear line wouldn’t be visible ?‍♀️. The material is very thin (but sturdy) so great for hot weather (but also the reason the panty lines are an issue on the other hand).

I love the stretch in the fabric and the pockets. They're a little longer than I'd like, but they work. I also love the simple lines! Good weight for summer riding.

I bought these shorts not to use for cycling but just because I like long shorts and these looked cute. I LOVE them! They are super lightweight and fit nicely. Not too tight. The front of the leg is a little longer than the back-scalloped-but I don't mind it. So excited to find such a comfortable, lightweight, pair or shorts.
