I'm between 34B / 32C and needed an M in this. My suggestion is to size up if you're unsure. This is the only sports bra I've ever found that's supportive AND gives you cleavage. That's quite impressive. I literally don't even have a normal bra that gives me cleavage like this.

The front-crossover design and small bit of padding provide great (and flattering!) support, even for the small-chested. I'm usually a 32b and went with an XS and it fits perfectly!

I have a small chest and this bra is FANTASTIC!!! I love it so much and how flattering it is. It's always the first bra I want to wear after I wash it. SO wonderful for yoga, running, climbing, really anything. I wear it all the time

I'm a 36B in Patagonia and typically wear a size medium. I ordered both a medium and large. The medium was a non-starter, way too small overall. The large fit better with respect to the band width and cup size. But as others have noted, the straps are uncomfortably short and I'm considered petite with respect to height. I'm keeping the large, but strange that Patagonia got this fit so wrong. It would be great if the straps were adjustable.

Very cute and I wish it fit! I tried both a medium (my normal size) and a large, but the straps on both dug seriously into my shoulders, even thought the large was too roomy in the bust.... Serious bummer. I don't think of myself as long-waisted and I have and love other Patagonia bras, so I'm surprised by the bad fit, but clearly it works okay for others

Love this bra! I don't typically fit well into Patagonia bras at all, but this one is great. I wear this for day to day activities (I wouldn't wear it for yoga), but it looks great under t-shirts, and its pretty low profile. I have worn it probably 20 times at this point. I worry a little bit about the longevity of the fabric, but Patagonia makes good stuff. For fit reference, I am a 32E east/west.

This is my absolute favorite sports bra that I’ve ever owned. Fits true to size, is comfy and supportive. The bra does not feel restricting during cardio activities, is easy to take on and off and dries quickly if you’re wearing it during water sports. Overall has a very flattering fit too! Ooo lala

The straps cut into my shoulders, and no matter the size it didn't fit right. I returned this for the active mesh bra instead.

My fiance uses this bra during her yoga practice. She says it's comfortable, supportive, and non-restrictive. I'm sure it will end up on our other outdoor pursuits this summer as well when she's hiking, camping or climbing. She says it's true to size compared to other brands she's used.

It's been nothing but a struggle with this bra - while it looks cute, it's not my favorite for active wear. The straps also dig into my shoulders after extended wear and they become very uncomfortable. Overall, I would not purchase this bra again.

Love this bra, so much so that i bought two! Super cute and incredibly comfortable, i literally wear one of them everyday. Not a huge bra with hard wire fan so this is my go to for everything. Would not run in it but climbing, snowboarding and yoga and all around town its a must!

I am in love with this sports bra. It’s supportive and comfortable, and i like the detailing with the crosses back. Works great under a tank top for working out or climbing

This is seriously my favorite bra, I have two! I do not like normal padded underwire bras, I love the minimalist feel of this bra! The fit is perfect and provides enough support for me. I wear it with everything and am seriously in love, I just bought my second one and will probably buy another one after that! I am a 32 small C and this fits me perfectly!

This is a great bra all around. Can be worn in active times, or more casual times under a muscle tank or other low shirt (the sides are super minimal)

I got this because I wanted a sports bra with a racer back and a low front cut - straddling the line between sports bra and makeshift swim top if the opportunity presented itself. This bra looks really nice, but it doesn't offer a lot of support - as such, it's a good piece for low intensity things like fishing, drifting, or yoga. Its also excellent for lounging, or wearing with a coordinated top out to the brewery on a hot summer day. I wear a size small in this and the barely bra. I'm a 32 b/c. I probably could have gone with an xs with this to get a bit more support, but I didn't get this bra to smash em down. It's for looking nice while being chill.

Pros: I'll start this by saying I liked this bra so much I went back for another color. It fits really well and is super flattering. I'm a climber and have really muscular shoulders, so I appreciate how the cut provides a comfortable amount of room if you have lats. I've even worn it running a few times, and though it's not the most supportive, I can get away with it. Cons: After extended periods of wear, I started to find the straps uncomfortable on my shoulders, and I don't love wearing this without a shirt as it's a little too push-up-ey, but overall it's a decent bra for climbing, hiking, or gym workouts.

This bra is awesome, i think i wore it for three days in the first week I had it! I've only casually worn this bra but am confident it will hold up during light activity use. I am a 32B and the size Small was perfect!

I am a size 34C cup and went with the medium size. Compared to the Barely-There Patagonia bra (where I was a size small), this boob-harness has much more support. The strap around the rib cage is thicker and has a more push-up and push-out look when it's on. It comes with light removable-padding. NOT for running or anysort of up-and-down motion, as my boobs did pop out quickly. Love the dark green color-way and wearing it with a loose (low-back) shirt is what I've been enjoying style-wise.

I love this sports bra. It's really supportive and comfortable, but also looks really cute in open back shirts.

This bra has been a struggle since the first one I ordered. I originally ordered the XS in Forge Grey several months ago, and as much as I loved the look, it was far too tight. I am an XS in the Active Mesh Bra and both models of the Barely Bra as well. I didn't commit to trying other sizes at the time. Fast forward several months, and I decided I wanted to try again. The Forge Grey color was so tight that I went with a Medium and this time in black, not caring about the size itself but just wanting the fit to work. To my surprise it was actually far too big! So I returned that one and thought, "Okay, the small should fit perfect." However even the small was too large! While it technically fit, the underarm bands tented out due to the extra fabric. I purchased another XS again in Black, and this one fit me just right. Patagonia, what is going on with this bra?! Don't get me wrong - I love the way it looks and I love the flattering cut with enough support to climb/boulder in, but it was a hassle to find the right size. I feel that perhaps the Forge Grey was made with fabric that has less stretch to it, or maybe Patagonia updated the model and made the straps stretchier. I'm honestly not sure. However I'm happy that this bra actually fits me and I love to use it as a layering piece. The previous review was correct in saying that the bra does show through certain tops, but the Barely Bra works just fine under those as an alternative option! Generally, I found the sizing in the BLACK color runs TRUE TO SIZE. I can't say the same for the others until I will evidently try those on as well.
