The Osprey Tropos 34L Backpack is designed to take your urban missions further and faster with it's updated design and added features. Several pockets keep your gear separated and clutter-free, such as a stretch-free top pocket, separate padded laptop sleeve, and front organizational pocket with internal sleeves. Padded mesh shoulder straps and the web belt provide a cool and comfortable fit while chasing trains and buses, and the high denier nylon fabric ensures that the Tropos will be with you for a lifetime. When you're sitting at the park for your lunch break or found a seat on the subway, the Kickstand feature allows you to prop up your pack on the ground and keep everything in place so everything stays organized.

I bought this as a school/hiking backpack in the summer of 2018. It’s now gone with me for a semester in Spain, on countless hikes, on many road trips, 4 semesters of abuse on a college campus, and it is still in great condition. The only damage it has is some light scratching on the outside and one of the water bottle pockets has torn a bit. I’ve never had a backpack last nearly this long and this one shows no signs of stopping. I love this backpack.

I use this on my commute to work and as a travel carry-on. At 34 Liters, you can haul books, water, a change of clothes, and all your electronics with ease. If you don't need all that stuff everyday (me frequently), the side compression effectively decreases that pack profile and bulkiness. But really, there are two reasons to get this thing. Number one, the kick stand is ingenious. Imagine never having to find something to lean your pack against so the contents don't spill out. Love it. And number two, the Airspeed back panel keeps your back from getting drenched with sweat in the heat.
