This one is just odd as a running shoe. Seemed to give me an odd gait. Just felt weird, but I found it to be a great wet weather walker. Use it on my own gravel road when its really too wet to ride or run. Kept these.

Size is spot on not to small as I have read. Lacing system is quite good heel support is excellent quality and materials are first-rate an expensive shoe worth the money

Loved the shoes design and coloring, but water proof model runs at lease 1/2 size smaller than other On models. Suggest sizing up 1/2 size for this model.

I've had these shoes for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased with quality and comfort they bring. I've used them for hiking and daily wear. The materials and construction is impeccable and I can tell they are going to hold up to anything I do in them. The lugs are a bit to get used to but I do like that they absorb a lot of the shock while hiking.

Fit - I find that these run just slightly large and ended up sizing down a half size compared to my standard street shoe size. They have a really well made upper with a nice lacing system and I think they did a great job on the tongue; it wraps around your foot providing a dialed and cozy fit. Performance - What intrigued me about these shoes is the very unique out sole design. I'm not going to lie, they are a bit funky just walking around your house and they feel a little off balance. However, when you get out and run on them, it's a different story. Trail conditions in my area are currently a combination of rutted hard pack and mud or hard pack snow and ice. I've mostly avoided the muddy conditions as to not mess up the trails so I've primarily used these on hard pack snow and ice. They grip really well and provide excellent braking on the downhill. Also, the waterproofing has been great so far. The cushioning is pretty on point for medium distance runs. I'm excited for spring/summer so I can get these out on technical terrain as I feel they will perform really well in technical conditions, especially rocky trail and scree. Durability - So far, so good. They appear to be well made and I expect them to take a beating.

I wore the ON Cloudventures for a 9 mile 3,000 ft elevation gain trail run. I should mention I had never worn them before. Normally this would be a nightmare, but my other shoes were shot and I needed a pair to compete in so I jumped at the chance to run the race in the ON Cloudventures. They are light, durable, comfortable, and didn't lead to any blisters, or injuries that can come from wearing new shoes on such a long run. I now have a pair of the Cloudventure waterproof and have loved getting out this winter on runs with my two dogs. They stay underfoot on the hard pack snow, and ice. They also keep my toes dry on long runs; which allows me to pass XC skiers up Millcreek Canyon. If you are looking for a shoe to take you on adventures in the mountains, the urban jungle, or just to wear daily these shoes won't let you down. Get ON it!... so many good puns If you have any questions give me a shout! @ ndeseelhorst@backcountry.com. Get ON it!
