Fished with an intermediate or sinking line, I've used this fly on pike and big lake trout with regular strikes. This is another perfectly balanced, great profile, and very fishy fly for big fish. Galloup flies are a must have for big fish waters where streamers are the optimal fly. The color balance on the olive and white pattern is particularly good at imitating a freshwater baitfish or small trout. These are a must have for ice out fishing and to start the year.
