The lightest in Mammut's line of avy protection packs, the Light Protection Airbag 3.0 Backpack is a tough, full-featured featherweight backpack. It has Mammut's Protection avalanche airbag system which is designed to inflate around your head, neck, and chest to protect against tumbling debris while lifting you to the surface with your face up. The brightly colored airbag balloon fills up in 3 seconds to get you out and visible as quickly as possible.

An aluminum frame places the load comfortably on your hips, and a thermoformed back offers a high level of carrying comfort. The three-step back length adjustment ensures the pack doesn't droop or fit improperly. Attachments for skis, snowboard, and axe-pole keep your gear secure and organized.
