I have actually had a very similar experience to other users. Within just a week of using this product I found myself scaling the walls at my local climbing gym with the seemingly infinite number finger jams the setters like to call "holes in the wall for the bolts". After a week of usage and receiving hate for "not doing any real climbs" I began physically tearing the holds off the walls at my local climbing gym. Fast forward a month of usage I have been elevated to new plane of existence. As I can now simply translate up the walls, the fun of climbing has been lost and I am now forced to find new hobbies relevant to 6th dimensional existence. Overall, 2 stars didn't do its job and could be less expensive.

Great hangboard. After a few weeks on this thing I started crushing doorknob handles and even exploded a few glass jars on accident.

Incredibly well made and designed piece of equipment. However, both the Backcountry and Mammut websites are lacking mounting information that should be known before purchasing. The system is two pieces, the hangboard proper and a steel mounting plate. The steel plate mounts to the wall via six flat head screws (not provided). The mounting plate is 27 3/4" X 5 3/4" with the two countersunk screw holes vertically pre-drilled center and two additional holes drilled at 12 3/4" on each side. Depending on the building code in your area, you may have to either place a large board to mount the steel plate to or add additional material to the wall studs to facilitate mounting. There should be no problems with mounting to solid wood or block walls. The hangboard is attached to the mounting plate via four slide lock grooves cut into a steel plate mounted to the back of the hangboard. Very tight tolerances. If you are thinking of just drilling additional holes in the mounting plate, they must be countersunk because of the tight mounting tolerances.

Hey I'm Dug Dimmadome, owner of the Dimsdale Dimmadome, and this is the best hardboard ever! Me and the rest of the dimmadome clan have seen significant improvements in our climbing from V69 to V73. Very aesthetic looking and keeps the Dimmadome looking great!

Received this product in the post, as one does when the most expensive dangleboard on the market is announced. I was really thinking this would change my experience with gravity, but it took some tweaking to really get it worked in. In my experience adding a little gold dust in with your FrictionLabs© chalk really helps exfoliate the natural grain of the board and give you the lift you need. I have this installed in my PJ and love the aesthetic it brings to the cabin.
