I like the fit, slim and slightly long as i'm 6'1 and the M works great. The fabric is ultra light but shields against wind, i climbed in cold environments without base and was actually ok! The cuffs at the bottom are perfect to fit over boots and keep things tight. I don't agree with other review, i think the front pockets are ideal with harness so they work for that purpose. Leg pocket is useful and big.

I've worn these pants for years and when I replaced them I discovered they no longer have the belt, belt loops and rear pocket. The front pockets are very shallow. I'm returning the pants.

Nice, comfortable. Great for casual wear or multi pitching. I like the built in belt and the leg elastic. They climb well. Not too many pockets, more of a keep it simple design.

I haven't taken these out mountaineering or anything, just snagged them from our gear closet to get an idea for the fit. First, these are the most comfortable soft shell pants I've ever worn. They adjust at both the ankle and waist for a comfortable fit to keep snow, etc out and they breathe super well. Our product photos for this item don't do the pant justice. Here's what you should expect your but to look like in these pants. Additionally, the olive color doesn't exactly match the product photo on the site.
