Just the right amount of firm and the perfect size. Super supportive. Comfortable fabric. The celestial pink looks very much like the photo. Such a cute pattern. I use it every night. Very much worth the extra bucks. I have no doubts this will last me a lifetime. Amazing quality. Also if you're from Utah, Support local!

Not only does Hugger Mugger make fantastically sticky yoga mats, but their bolsters are the best! I purchased a Hugger Mugger for myself not too long for my at-home practice and it has changed the game! It's one of those props that quickly becomes a staple in your practice. Unlike a block, a bolster is comfortable which makes it easier for my to let go of my thoughts and get deep into my stretches and breath, because with block I often to focus on the uncomfortable pressure points. I like Hugger Mugger bolsters because you can tell they are made with a high quality. The fabric is comfortable and incredibly durable and the firmness of the pillow holds its form over a long time of usage. My favorite positions with the bolster are placing the bolster vertically inline with spine and opening my arms into a T to create a heart opening position that feels great on the upper back. And during savasana I like to place the bolster perpendicular to my body and underneath my knees to relieve the tension in my lower back so I can fully relax at the end of class! This prop makes for a great gift for anyone who works out regularly, they don't have to be avid Yogis, because the bolster can simply serve a prop to help deepen your stretches. I gave this bolster as a gift to my step mom for Christmas to add to her home gym.

I could have spent a little less money on a plain bolster but the Indigo Ikat is so darn cute! And, it won't get confused with someone elses at the studio. I got the Manduka recycled foam blocks in seafoam to go with it and I couldn't be more excited about my little yoga set up! I've always had to lay in savasana with my knees bent because I have lower back issues and the floor hurts my tail bone even with a mat. I recently joined a new gym and the instructor must have noticed me always bending my legs so one day she came by and slid a bolster under my knees. It was amazing! I realized that day that I've never truly experienced the power of savasana! I was in a whole different world! I was able to relax and really let go of all my muscles. I'm obsessed with bolsters now. I wish I had known more about them years ago. I even use it at home when I'm watching TV. I place it under my knees for relief on my lower back and knees. Take your practice to a new level and try out a bolster!
