No one understand winter better than a Yeti, so Darn Tough enlisted his help to design the Yeti Cushion Women's Ski Socks. He opted for moisture-wicking, quick-drying, and breathable merino wool, which also fights odor, and he used a True Seamless construction to prevent irritation under your ski or snowboard boots.

To start let me say I wear darn toughs pretty much everyday. That fact makes this review a bit of a heart breaker. I had these saved in my wish list for a while and really wanted to like them. The design is really cute but the actual socks are below standard for sure. I was suspicious when they didn’t specify if they were for skiing or for snowboarding. So to start the pattern stitching on the top of the foot appears to be an average sock pattern not one for snow sports. The lower foot portion is lightly padded and kind of fit ok until I tried to pull them up. These are not made for athletic calves and there is no way you can layer them with a thicker base layer pant. The ankle area squishes down and is going to create a boot fit issue. The average top of foot stitch pattern causes issues with regular strap bindings creating pinch points. These look like regular socks some one made knee high and called snow sports socks. If you have skinny calves and want to look cute in the lodge these work but other than that not so much. There are better options for snowboarding socks at the same price point.

Love how these feel on! The material is pretty tight on my calves, though, and I do not have particularly large calves, though I am a bit fat so maybe that's it haha.

These are my go-to ski socks. They are high quality, not too tight in the calves (I have athletic calves from running, but nothing crazy), and WARM. I switched from another pair of wool socks to these, due to itchiness and super tight calves. These are not itchy at all! I wash these with regular loads of laundry (hot, warm, cold) and line dry and they are holding up really well. I've probably used these socks about 40 times since buying them and they look brand new without any stretching.

First pair of Darn Toughs and first foray into a slightly thicker ski sock. I won't go back. These socks are warm, durable and look great.

This is a great quality sock! Nice and comfortable and thin to allow those tight ski boots to be close to your skin.

I LOVE my darn tough socks and these ones are extra fun. They kept my toes warms all day long and are perfect for any skier/snowboarder. They are just the right amount of thickness.

Darn Tough makes the best socks, and these are no exception. The fit is great - neither too loose nor to constricting, and the pattern is SO cute! Love it. Cute without being juvenile or looking like something out of an art mart. Probably will be getting a second pair, just like I've done with all the darn tough socks I own.

This is the only pair of socks I have yet to destroy through use - and I've had them a while. Why these socks are so awesome: 1. The calf width is not like a boa constrictor! My calves are about 16" so I usually have to buy men's socks - but these socks fit great! 2. I wear these socks almost daily with my snow boots during Minnesota winter's - I have yet to wear holes in them like all of my other snowboarding/skiing socks. 3. They are very light, but also WARM. Did I mention they stand up to Minnesota winters? BUY THESE SOCKS AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

These socks aren’t very thick, so they are great for ski socks. The merino wool keeps your toes warm and is not itchy, the best part is that they stay up. They fit true to size and are a great all around ski sock.

My wife has chronically cold feet, especially when skiing or snowboarding. These socks kept her feet warm! The last pair of wool socks she had left sores on her ankles after a day skiing because they were so rough, but not these socks. She's still talking about how soft and warm they are.

I love these socks so much! They’re comfy and cute and judging from all my other darn tough socks I’m certain they’ll be durable. Really I just don’t know why I waited so long to get a pair of these.

I am always cold, ALWAYS. Whenever I ski, my toes literally go numb and will take hours to warm up again. Over the years, I always just stuck to my Smart Wool socks because it was what I was used to. Recently, someone recommended these socks to me . My toes are so happy that they did! I haven't had any problem with my toes going numb and they are comfortable and not itchy.
