If you have a new crossbars this will not fit. I have Thule racks on my pickup, which instead of being round (old style) are teardrop shaped (I assume for aerodynamics). These board racks do not fit on the longer shape. Never even occurred to me that this would be an issue. Check your rack before buying.

Love these they are awesome and cheap for traveling around with your surfboards! I brought my surfboard to and from California and these definitely got the job done!
