DAKINE Low Roller Snowboard Bag for Sale, Reviews, Deals and Guides

I bought a Dakine low-roller travel bag (with a "lifetime warranty") and used it ONE TIME to transport my board/boots/bibs from Silverthorne to Copper Mtn in the bed of a pickup truck. The board edge ripped clean through the bag leaving a 3 inch tear. I contacted customer service and Dakine offered me a 40% discount on a new bag. Yes, they tried to get me to buy another one versus replacing it. The warranty is a scam. The product quality is low. The customer service in non-existent. In fact, customer service told me this is normal wear and tear. ON THE FIRST USE. Very disappointing experience with Dakine.

We already had one Dakine snowboard roller bag and needed a second for ski trip to Japan. We didn't look at any other brands because the one bag we already own is so well made and it has lasted many years and many plane rides. The new bag is just the same. Between the 2 bags we fit 2 snowboards, 1 pair of snowboard boots and 3 pairs of skis/poles and ski boots and a bunch of random packable items. The bag is easy to roll and maneuver considering its length. The padding provided great protection and the zippers and straps are sturdy. A quality product for a great price.

I have to say, this board bag is rad! It has enough storage space for all of your snowboard gear & street clothes for a week. It’s lightweight, easily maneuverable thanks to the handy wheels & has a separate boot pocket, which is really nice for a little internal organization. I do wish it had a second outside pocket, but one works! The interior material makes it so you don’t have to worry about it getting dirty, you can just wipe any grime from a muddy parking lot off with a paper towel (for those spring riding days when your boots get a little soggy).

I used to have a non- roller bag and it was not the most fun in airports, great for road trips, but not if you have to carry it long distances. This bag is great, is not super expensive, has good padding, and you can roll it to make carrying gear so much easier on planes or trains or whatnot.

Pack up for the weekend or a week out in Japan! Bag is perfect for 2 boards and pair of bindings. I really like how there is a separate zipper bag for your boots as well. Decent enough padding that I don't have to worry about it being tossed around at the airport. You can also velcro this back to the handle of a roller board back and then pull both from the same handle.

After years of using a shoulder carry bag, stoked on this, gotta love those wheelies! Great price too.

The first thing you'll notice is that this bag is lightweight, yet extremely durable and made from high quality materials. It has plenty of space so you can fit more than just your snowboard, boots, bindings, helmet, jacket, pants, & base layers. I was able to pack everything I needed for my 4 day trip between this bag and my backpack carry-on. I used every inch of space while staying under 45 pounds. It's fair to say that I put the zippers to the test and they performed admirably. Pros: -Lightweight, yet durable -Plenty of space -Wheels are perfect for airport travel -Durable zippers -Easy to store when you're not using it Cons -No shoulder strap. It's a nice to have but isn't necessary with wheels + handle -Everyone has Dakine snowboard bags, clearly for good reason. It can make identifying your bag amongst the 30 other Dakine bags a bit difficult. Solved this by tying a handkerchief to my handle.

I just received this bag, and cant wait to put it on a plane! Good quality, room for my board, boots, and other gear. I can fit a couple boards in and plan to use it as a storage bag when not traveling with it. Where is the snow this year?

Ordered this bag as well as the Dakine Tour Bag for a good ole fashion compare and contrast - both in size 157 as I ride a 145. I chose this bag. It has significantly more room than the Tour. I can fit all of my gear, including helmet, boots, and board with bindings, and even toiletries, which is nice if you don't want to stress over the carryon size requirements for a roller bag. For shorter trips this bag has potentially enough room to ditch your carryon and throw your street clothes in as well! Wheels are much more practical than the Tour bag if you are traveling in planes. The only change that I would make is adding a shoulder strap as opposed to just a handle to carry the bag, which is why I gave 4/5 stars.
