With a hectic schedule and weekends that are consistently planned at least month in advance, you cherish simplicity wherever you can find it. When you're able to escape your obligations and get on the bike, look to the Castelli Solare Jersey to simplify your wardrobe. Designed with summer's hottest days in mind, this sleeveless jersey is constructed with soft yarns that feel like cotton but wick the way a fully synthetic fabric should. It includes an internal sports bra with a convenient front zipper to make sure getting dressed for a ride doesn't resemble yoga class, and the bra's separation from the rest of the jersey allows you to take advantage of the jersey's full-length zipper to add much-needed airflow on a long climb.

I'm not sure who castelli designed this for. I'm 5'8 and a size 4, generally a 2 during the summer when I'm riding a lot. I ordered a size up on this product--I can normally get away with wearing small jerseys, so I ordered a medium. It's so cute, but it's sooooo tiny. I'm barely a 34A and the zipper on the bra wouldn't stay zipped. My recommendation, order AT LEAST two sizes up.

If you're on the bustier side, size WAY up. I took a chance with the XS because it was on sale, but the inner zipper won't even come close to zipping all the way. Really disappointed because it looks really nice and the material is very light and quality.

Most jerseys I wear a medium for this brand. I ordered a medium, inner zipper zipped, as soon as I moved it unzipped. It was tight fit more like a pro fit. I am going to order the next size up but I worry the inner zipper will be an issue. I am a measure at 32 waist and 36 ish for my bust.

I am a small and flat chested 5'2", 110 lb, athletic build. My measurements are 33/25/34. I wear a size small in most everything, so reading the reviews of others, I purchased a Medium and a Large in a second color at twice the price of the first. I returned everything because they were too small. The shelf of the inner bra of the medium wouldn't go over and below my breasts. I wanted to like them. Sad they are so weirdly small and not stretchy like usual jersey material.

Holy moly does this top run small. I'm a size 6 typically, 36C, and I thought a medium would do the trick. (Usually between a small and a medium) This jersey is laughably tight. I'm not even sure a large would fit, maybe an XL? (Which is ridiculous, what are all of the women bigger than me wearing?) Seems nice otherwise, I'm just not sure who it's made for exactly

I initially purchased this Solare jersey in gray, and I’ve liked it so well that I recently bought a second one in blue. For sizing reference, I wear a 34 A/B bra, and a small in the Castelli Rosso Corsa light bra. For the Solare jersey, I sized up to a medium, which was the correct decision. The jersey’s internal bra is noticeably more comfortable than my Rosso Corsa bras—it’s somewhat less compressive, yet still offers perfectly adequate support for my cup size. Because this is not obvious from the currently posted images, I thought it might be helpful to note that the front fabric panels for the bras are the same color as the piping trim on the jerseys: a minty aqua for the gray jersey, and a fluo orange for the blue jersey. So there’s a lovely, jaunty pop of color at the chest when the jersey is unzipped just an inch or two. The back internal fabric panel for the bras is a breathable white mesh. In addition to the three regular rear pockets, the jersey features a flapped, 2.5" x 4" key pocket on the right hip. This is done in sky blue mesh with orange trim on the blue jersey, and fluo yellow mesh with mint trim on the gray jersey. I imagine that this style of jersey wouldn’t be ideal for wearing with bibs. As someone who has only regular shorts, though, I’m finding the design to be absolutely brilliant. The Solare feels good to wear, and it looks good, too. By sheer happy accident, the blue one even matches my 2018 Pearl Izumi X-ALP Launch shoes!

I have to exchange this for a size up (unfortunately the lovely blue/orange is not available in that size, though). I already sized up, to a large, and it's super tight and small. Hmm. I am a 36A but broad shoulders (swimming), lean (still rockin' the jog bras and bikinis at age 50+), size 6 or 8 in pants (muscular) but size L in this was tiny. Besides that, though, it's a gorgeous top - sexy, well-made (cut right in all the right places), functional (as other gal mentioned - the inner bra zips - yay! - and great pockets), and versatile (I'd wear it for running, too, maybe tri's).

Love this jersey for hot summer cycling in sunny Florida. I wear tons of sunscreen, but I can't escape tan lines, and with this jersey, I don't get that awkward farmer's tan. It's one of the few sleeveless jerseys that has all the usual pockets, which definitely get used. And I LOVE that the built-in bralette also zips!
