I love that these gloves were long and had a cinch able base. It was great for keeping snow out. My daughter complained that her fingers didn't reach all the way to the top of the finger due to the way the webbing was constructed in the palm. However, I tried them on as well, and it didn't hinder any movement. I think she was just used to wearing knit gloves that you can pull ALL the way on. Definitely a reasonable purchase for first time skiing.
