Early morning sends call for Backcountry's Liquid Oxygen Hooded Pullover. This performance hoodie features a lightweight fabric that adds a touch of warmth to cool spring days, then provides moisture-wicking comfort once the sun's out in full force. Four-way stretch means you have complete freedom to tackle a multi-pitch or two, and the Cordura blend is durable enough for rough rock faces. You can pop the hood up for extra coverage from the harsh midday sun, cinch the waist for a low bulk fit, and use the kangaroo pocket to stash any small essentials you might want at hand.

I had no idea this would turn into an amazing running hoodie! At first feel, it almost felt scratchy, but the fabric is deceptive. It insulates beautifully and keeps you warm and dry. It moves SO well that it held up for a 17 mile run in some really, really bone chillingly cold Pacific Northwest air. I only wish I had gotten to it sooner because my size was picked over in all the colors! I ordered the black and was blown away by the flattering fit. I’m ordered my husband one immediately in the men’s!

This pullover is my go to layer! It was great on a backpacking trip and has been perfect rock climbing this fall. I've used it dozens of times at our local crags and it still looks like new. Not too thick and not too thin, ideal for milder days. I could've bought a medium for a tighter fit, but I bought a large and it's the perfect size for me to layer underneath for colder days if needed.

The color, contrasting cuffs and light pink logo contrast are awesome. I love the kangaroo pocket and the softness of the material. Perfect layer for a cool fall day and, I can imagine, underneath a ski jacket. My only complaint is the drawcord on the bottom, it's a little tighter than I would like when not in use and I have a pretty athletic (non-curvy frame). I'm tempted to cut it and pull it out but then I wouldn't have it for the few times when I want to cinch up the bottom...otherwise a perfect long sleeved layer!

Very happy with this top- it's not too thin, not too thick and I don't have any other athletic tops this color. I've worn it hiking several times and keep choosing it. Washed and hung it to dry (like most all of my clothing to extend its life and save dryer energy). It stands up against the other brands in my closet, so I will continue to browse BC gear when I need something.

A great-looking, very comfortable top that performs well, too. I have used it for hiking, stacking firewood, work, and lounging, and it does well at all of them. Not too bulky. Warm, but not too warm. I wish it came in more colors!

I was given this product by Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. I am 5' 7", weighing 150lbs. I have an athletic build and wear a size small or medium in shirts and jackets, to accommodate my broad shoulders. The Women's Liquid Oxygen Hoodie is a breathable, flexible hoodie that is great for spring, summer, or fall rock climbing. The material is durable and built to get you through any adventure, as well as keeps you cool if the temps start to rise. This black hoodie is a perfect addition to my wardrobe, and I enjoy wearing it on all outdoor rock climbing trips in the Red River Gorge. The hoodie I received is a small, and it fits true to size. It has a pocket that connects in the front, a zipper in the front that adds to its breathability, and a hood that fits to your face. While it is very versatile, it is also stylish and would look great worn on your day to day outings. Whether you're climbing, biking, running, or hiking, the Women's Liquid Oxygen hoodie is a must have. It will keep you cool and comfortable during every season's adventures.

I’m a big fan of this pullover. Lost the first one in an unfortunate event and immediately bought a second one. I’m 5’6”, 130lb and bought a small. It’s on the snugger size but it’s perfect to wear for chilly days over a shirt.

I wore this in black on a climbing trip in full sun. I though it I was going to have to shed it immediately but I was surprised at how breathable and lightweight this top was. I wore it all day almost like a sun shirt to keep my shoulders from burning. It's definitely a little heavier than a sun shirt but it's great for spring/fall temps.

I love this layer! I bring it with me on all of our adventures. The fabric is light and stretchy and beyond comfortable. It’s perfect for all of your climbing adventures or even a base layer for backcountry skiing because of its breathability . I am 5’™2 and 115 and a small fits me perfect. Definitely recommend this layer!

I love the liquid oxygen pullover for anytime I need an active layer. It is great protection for high alpine hiking when the weather starts to get a little chillier but you are still climbing uphill and don't want something too heavy. And when you do start to heat up, the half-zip is long enough to give you a really nice breeze to cool you down. The material is super stretchy and does great for scrambling, and would be great for climbing as well. Highly recommend!

I LOVE this little jacket! It's an awesome light layer for short hikes and climbing. It's a very flattering fit. I can wear an XS for a slimmer fit, and a S for a more true to size fit. The kangaroo pocket is awesome for warming hands and storing little essentials. The material is very breathable as well. Zip it all the way up for pocketing your neck from the chill. I want a million of these!

The was great to take with me on a recent multi-day road trip. When it got chilly in the car, I could throw this on without having to bug the driver to turn the AC down. I also slept in it every night since it was so soft and comfortable against my skin! I love that the Liquid Oxygen has pockets and a drawcord waist for that perfect fit. A great, versatile piece for wearing during the day and through the night!

I like the pullover, the way it feels and dries quickly, however the color looks a little like when you wash a bunch of colors together and they fade to grey pink.

This is an outstanding hoodie- stretchy, quick-dry, hits great, nice color, and soft. I ordered a second one in different shade after testing it. The Mauve color is more like a dusty rose in person and I think it looks better than the picture. I am 115lb and got a size Small. It would be perfect if the fabric has a high UPF rating.

This pullover is growing on me more and more. I might wear this pullover a little too much. Its perfect for running around town. Works as a windbreaker for those chiller biking/climbing days. Mid-layer for winter days. Lightweight, quick-drying construction keeps you cool and dry, making it perfect for any activity. But also a order protection, so you can wash it less, and wear it more!

I have been wearing this fantastic layer for a handful of weeks now, it makes for an easy go-to for any activity! It is just heavy enough to help with the wind and just light/breathable enough for uphill maneuvering. The odor control element is amazing and makes for fewer washes, hooray!! The hood is amazing and stays over your head with even some wind. I love the soft spandex material on this hoodie and will continue to wear it on many adventures.

This pullover is so soft and cozy and definitely stands up to the dirtbag life, I've been wearing it for 4-5 days on end without washing it and it still feels passably cleanish which must be due to the odor control treatment. The fit is perfect for me too, I have super long arms and the sleeves on this are plenty long which is rare for me to find. Also the fit through the body is slightly relaxed making it easy to pull on over another layer without feeling like the bottom layer is bunching up. Only downside is I wouldn't recommend offwidthing in it, after just a few chicken wings I started to really fray the sleeves. I have it in the mauve and the color is actually way more muted than the photo indicates.

This pullover is a new go-to and I think it's a great choice for travel based on the material. I've been running around in it quite a bit and it's durable and doesn't take up much space for the warmth/windblock that it gives. I also really like the pink/mauve color.

This reminds me of a lululemon top I used to have - such a nice fabric. The fit is just right, not too tight and not too baggy. The mauve color is beautiful, and different than what came across in the photos. It is more like a pretty dusty rose than a magenta. Love it.
